# When to start?

To qualify for compulsory insurance reimbursement, treatment must either begin before the age of 15, or be notified (by you or your orthodontist) to your mutual insurance company before your 15th birthday. Treatment must begin no later than 24 calendar months after this notification. Reimbursement for regular orthodontic treatment ends on your 22nd birthday.
